Eligible Uses The Coastal Zone Management Act established a national system of State and territorial Coastal Zone Management Programs. These Programs work with coastal States and territories to address urgent coastal issues including climate change, ocean planning, and planning for energy facilities and development. This funding will enable approved coastal programs to protect and restore ecologically significant habitats, including conserving lands that play a critical role in helping communities become more resilient to natural hazards such as storms, flooding, inundation, erosion, tsunamis, sea level rise, and lake level changes. link
