Period of Availability Each fiscal year appropriated is available for obligation for 3 years. Funding will be received over a period of four years, with $8.668 million in fiscal year 2022 and $5 million in fiscal year 2023 through fiscal year 2025.

Program Description To accelerate the U.S. Geological Survey mapping mission by providing integrated topographic, geologic, geochemical, and geophysical mapping; accelerating the integration and consolidation of geospatial and resource data; and providing an interpretation of both critical mineral resources still in the ground and critical mineral resources that may be reprocessed from mine wastes.
