Program Description
To incentivize upgrades to hydroelectric facilities to increase their efficiency.
Eligible Uses
Capital improvements to hydroelectric facilities at existing dams to improve the efficiency of such facilities by at least 3 percent. Maximum percentage of Federal funds going to the capital improvement is 30 percent with a total cap of $5 million per facility.
